 It’s the Balm company was created by its founder & CEO April in September 2022.  April & her family were unknowingly exposed to toxic mold for several months after the family moved from CA to TX.  This experience lit a fire in April to do everything she could to help her family recover. The couples 3-year-old daughter suffered the most severe symptoms from mold toxicity, and April and her husband Travis knew they had to get out of their toxic environment.  After praying and asking God for guidance the couple decided to buy an RV.  They made the RV their home, traveling to secluded technology free places, in hopes that they would all recover.  During this time April researched 24/7 looking for ways that she could help her family heal naturally. This is when April learned about the amazing benefits of tallow.  After a few months of living that RV life the family started feeling better and decided to plant roots in ID.  April began making tallow balms in her kitchen, sourcing tallow from local farms near her home. Travis was suffering from extremely dry and cracked skin, and had tried many different creams etc. but nothing was working. Travis began using the tallow, and in just a few short days his skin had improved tremendously and after 1 week it had completely healed.  After seeing how the tallow healed Travis’s skin, April decided to make it a family business so that others could experience the amazing benefits of this healing whole-skin balm.
